What began as a county wide collaborative effort to address deep issues of poverty has since grown in scope to address the inequalities that cause and are exacerbated by it. Today, Access’ mission remains to strengthen and develop holistic solutions to poverty by cultivating equitable systems. Join us as we take time to celebrate, to remember our journey and growth over the last 40 years, to honor the people who have been a part of our growth, and to dream about what’s to come.
We will celebrate with a casual garden party in Millennium Park’s Grant Pavilion overlooking the grasslands, ponds and paths of Kent Trails. The evening will include yard games, refreshing drinks and dinner provided by Farm Kitchen. Farm Kitchen is a local partner in Access’ Good Food Initiative, dedicated to supporting local organic farmers with their menu creation. In this outdoor gathering space, with covid safety protocols in place, we can safely celebrate, remember, and look ahead.
