What began as a county wide collaborative effort to address deep issues of poverty has since grown in scope to address the inequalities that cause and are exacerbated by it. Today, Access’ mission remains to strengthen and develop holistic solutions to poverty by cultivating equitable systems. Join us as we take time to celebrate, to remember our journey and growth over the last 40 years, to honor the people who have been a part of our growth, and to dream about what’s to come.
We were thankful to safely celebrate our 40th Anniversary outdoors at Millennium Park’s Grant Pavilion overlooking the grasslands, ponds and paths of Kent Trails with community partners, friends, and family. The chilly but awe-inspiring evening included yard games, refreshing drinks and a soup dinner provided by Farm Kitchen. We were able to enjoy one another’s company as we recalled the last 40 years of Access and spoke about the future of Access, and we recognized 3 individuals who have been apart of our past and are continuously helping us shape our future.
Thank you for your continued support and cheers to 40 more years!
A special thank you to our event sponsors for supporting our celebration!
