Our goal is to collect 200,000 pounds of food for area food pantries to help over the high-need summer months. All Kent County D&W and Family Fare stores will be collection sites. Please drop off your donation any time during the collection dates. You can also drop off at the WZZM TV 13 studio (Alpine and 3 Mile Rd). We encourage you to organize a food collection through your congregation, Vacation Bible School, Youth group, work place, or neighborhood and bring the food down to TV 13 and we’ll get you some TV coverage! Here are some food collection ideas that can help you get started.

The proceeds will go to ACCESS (if in Kent County) or the Holland Rescue Mission (if in Ottawa County) in order to help fill our food pantries for the holiday season. This year is the greatest need we have ever seen, as we feed over 8,000 families or 25,000 men, women, and children on a monthly basis. Donating $1.99 will make only a small dent in your checking account…but will make a big difference to the ones who need it.
