County Wide Food Drive

This year’s County Wide Food Drive will be held October 10, 2009.

This is a concentrated effort to collect non-perishable food and non-food items from porches in the Greater Grand Rapids area for distribution to neighborhood food pantries.

Over 7,000 families visit Kent County food pantries each month–half of these served are children.  Hunger does not discriminate by age, gender, or race.  It affects the elderly, the homeless, the unemployed and the working poor.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!  Please volunteer on this special day to help collect, pack, and distribute food.  If you would like to be a captain for you group, congregation, business, or agency please fill out the online form.
